Pellet activated carbon is made from high quality virgin coal and coconut shell by steam activation. These are mainly used for gas phase applications because of their low pressure drop, high mechanical strength, and low dust content, such as H2S removal, solvent recovery, vapor recovery, pressure swing adsorption (PSA), gas mask, odor control, and air filters.
